Volunteering at Nguyen Nga Center – NNC

Dear volunteer, if you’d like more details please don’t hesitate to contact us. The NNC is always interested in new ideas and we look forward to answering your inquiries regarding your time with us.

General information:
Nguyen Nga Center is a private center, promoting the social welfare for young people with special needs. We provide assistance to individuals with physical, learning, … and sensory impairments. We have provided a caring environment, which promotes socialization, educational, and vocational activities for the past 25 years (1993 – 2018). The Center started its operation in July 1993 with a very specific goal:

To improve the quality of life for young people with special needs.

Our programs consist of vocational training, educational scholarships and support to enable our young adults to gain employment and become self-reliant. The center consists of 150 students, eleven teachers and staff members. Currently 35 students have graduated or are attending a University or College and the community group has 24 students who work or own 24 small stores of their own in Quy Nhon and the surrounding countryside.

We try to support our students in their own local communities; an essential aim of the NNC is for as many students as possible to achieve independence through our successful vocational training programs.
